Harry Legare Watson papers, 1884-1969.

Correspondence, arranged alphabetically, and nearly complete run of annotated copies of Watson's column "Our Old Roads," a series of historical essays about Greenwood County, a jurisdiction created in 1897 from portions of the old Abbeville and Edgefield Districts; many of these columns were republished in 1970 as Greenwood County Sketches; index to personal names appearing in the columns also filed Box 4.
